The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) in Terengganu are searching for a man suspected of filming women in a mall restroom.
The suspect was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt with the words “Aku Kuat Aku Ultraman” printed on the back during the incident.

Kuala Terengganu District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Azli Mohd Noor, said the victim, a 29-year-old mobile phone saleswoman, noticed a mobile phone through a gap in the door while using the women’s restroom on the first floor of Mayang Mall.
Based on reports, the suspect is believed to be in his early 20s, with blonde hair, wearing a white T-shirt featuring an Ultraman image and the words “Aku Kuat Aku Ultraman”, dark jeans, and carrying a crossbody bag.
“As soon as his actions were noticed, the suspect fled, but the victim managed to capture a rear-view photo of him,” Azli said.
CCTV footage from the mall also showed the suspect running out through the main entrance toward Dataran Shahbandar. Police are reviewing the footage to identify the suspect’s face and are tracing witnesses near the scene to assist in the investigation, according to Sinar Harian.

Following the incident, Mayang Mall’s management assured the public that they are cooperating with police and urged visitors to report any suspicious behaviour immediately. Auxiliary police will also increase patrols, especially around restrooms.
The case is being investigated under Sections 448 and 509 of the Penal Code for trespassing and committing an act intended to insult the modesty of a person.
