A passenger in Kulai, Johor, tragically lost his life after the Honda City he was in crashed into a lorry parked by the roadside.
The fatal accident occurred on Jalan Felda Taib Andak near Taman Permata on Saturday night (20 September), involving a five-ton Hino lorry.

The driver of the Honda City survived the crash with injuries, but the passenger was killed and decapitated in the impact.
According to Operations Commander Senior Fire Chief II (KUP) Mohd Firdaus Juritah from the Kulai Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), he received an emergency call regarding the incident at 10:36 PM.
Upon receiving the call, a Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) unit, comprising eight firefighters, were dispatched to the location six kilometres away.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at 10:46 PM and found the crash involving both vehicles at the roadside

“The driver of the car was injured but not trapped, and was successfully removed by members of the public before firefighters arrived at the scene.”
“However, the passenger in the front seat of the car was found dead, with his head severed from his body,” he said.
Mohd Firdaus added that the victim’s body was handed over to the police for further action. According to Sinar Harian, the operation was completed at 11:20 PM.
