It was reported yesterday that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang was in the hospital due to deteriorating health.

His son Khalil revealed this through a Facebook post and shared that his father was receiving treatment at a Kuala Terengganu hospital and asked people to pray for him.

According to Khalil, his father was not well when he attended the launch of the Terengganu PAS Youth election machinery in Marang on June 27. However, he still insisted on attending the event.

However, it was revealed today that Abdul Hadi is now in stable condition and has been moved to a regular ward after being hospitalised.

As reported by Sinar Harian, PAS vice-president Amar Nik Abdullah said the Marang MP was transferred to a regular ward today after being warded in the coronary care unit (CCU) for a few days.

“His condition has improved, and he has been transferred to a regular ward. However, he is still undergoing treatment and is being closely monitored by doctors.”

Amar said visitors were not allowed as Hadi needed time to recover.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
