Fully vaccinated parents can now bring their children to the cinema to watch movies this holiday.
GSC’s Public Relations and Brand Manager, Sharmine Ishak, said the decision was made at just the right time as the end of the year is after all the school holiday season.
“After the announcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) came into force, we started accepting the arrival of children with parents or guardians on 4 December.”
“Cinemas have become more lively now with children since the announcement. We hope more spectators from families will return in the near future”.
“We are very excited to welcome them with the latest SOPs set,” he added.
Sharmine also believes that screening movies that are suitable for the whole family to watch will be the best attraction so that more families will return to the cinema.
“It coincides with the screening of many family-friendly films. The films include Encanto, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and The Matrix Resurrections,” he added.
