The season of festive is not just about family gatherings but also for the lovebirds to express their love for each other. The love languages that come into play at times like this are always gift-giving or acts of service.
In a recent anonymous post, a Taiwanese girl vented her anger for NOT receiving any gifts from her man, who had brought her for Christmas dinner at a fine dining restaurant, as well as giving her a bouquet as gifts. However, the girl did not see those as gifts and she expected more on their way home.

“The dinner and the flowers were really thoughtful gestures, but that was it! I did not receive any gifts at home. It was romantic at first but it quickly became a mood killer!”
When asked about gifts, the man told his GF that the dinner and the flowers were intended to be Christmas gifts, which upset her even more.
“Isn’t it common sense to give presents on Christmas Day? This is unacceptable, and he only offered to make up by giving another gift when I was mad!”

She then expressed her relief that the relationship has not progressed further, citing that they haven’t even made it past the 1st base.
“Thank goodness we have only held hands and hugged each other. Wasted 2 months of my life. If you don’t have the budget, don’t be in a relationship!”

Netizens, on the other hand, were baffled to see how ungrateful she was, and they took the opportunity to criticise her for that.
“If you MUST need presents on Christmas, kindly look for Santa Claus. Why bother getting yourself a BF?”
