If you’ve ever been to Taylor’s University’s Lakeside Campus, you would have definitely come across their resident geese who love to hang around the lake.
The geese have been somewhat unofficial mascots of the campus, welcoming (and kind of terrifying) batches of students for the past 7 years.
Sadly, one of the geese flew away from Taylorians’ lives forever when it passed away last week. News of the goose’s passing shocked Taylor’s students all over social media when the announcement of its death was posted on Taylor’s Univeristy’s official Facebook page and Taylor’s University Confessions’.
In Taylor’s University’s confession page, they announced that there would be a memorial service for the goose, which was held on 8th September by the lake on their campus.
The memorial service was simple, with many students gathering near the lake and paying their respects by placing flowers and lighting candles near a photo of the goose. Aw, man. 🙁
Many students mourned their loss on social media, sharing some of their most fond memories with the goose.
Our condolences go out to all Taylorians, and most importantly, the other geese that suffered a terrible loss. We hope they can have the strength to go through this unbelievably difficult time. R.I.P Goose. 🙁
