A British study involving 2,000 drivers taking an IQ test with the aim to find out the correlation between the car you drive and how smart you are.
The study found out the smartest drivers and drivers with averagely lower IQ, is your car on the list?
According to this study by Scrap Car Comparison, out of 22 cars, the highest-ranking drivers are the ones who drive Skoda, Suzuki, and Peugeot. The average IQ are 99, 98.09, and 97.79 respectively.
Mini, Mazda, and Toyota drivers follow with more than 95 of average IQ.
On the other end of the scale, the study also found that BMW drivers have lower average IQ, alongside with Fiat and Land Rover drivers. The average IQ of them are 91.68, 90.14, and 88.58 accordingly.
Besides that, the colour of your car may also indicate your smartness. According to the study, drivers with white, grey, and red cars have the highest average IQ, while drivers with silver and green cars ranked the lowest.
The study also found that personalised car number plate owners are less intelligent, that is, the ones with personalised number plates have an average IQ of 91.95, the ones without have an average IQ of 94.15.
