Some people never learn that it does not pay to be sexist and that condemning and calling a particular gender weak will not go down well with the general public.
This is the tweet in question:
Girls are created weak, because boys are meant to protect them.

It didn’t take long for members of the public to give this person a piece of their minds.
my mum naik turun court for 5 years to file a divorce after my dad was caught cheating on her multiple times , sold our house , moved to kl and raised 3 of her children , she worked day and night so that we could have good education , ALL ON HER OWN and did her master while at it https://t.co/HJMSOcR5er

Amanda replied with a story of the strength of her mother weathering storms; she writes, “My mum went up and down the court for five years to file a divorce against my dad.”
“He was caught cheating on her multiple times. She sold our house and moved to KL to raise her three children.”
“She worked day and night so that we could have a good education, all on her own and did her masters while at it.”

In her thread, she wrote, “Girls are weak? I don’t think so.”
Some people do not get the fact that it is not okay to speak your mind just because you can, especially on social media.
Other netizens too, angered by the original tweet, showed support by sharing their own stories of their mothers.
My mom got no time to file a divorce. So she decided to left her husband(cheating, gambling, loan shark etc) and raise me with 2 daughters and 2 sons. Thankfully, 3 of us are sponsored by yppb(me), yayasan tm&jpa(other 2). Women aint weak if they have determination.

I can relate :') No matter how bad things got, my mum handled every challenge without ever once feeling sorry for herself

Passing sexist comments or judgements is never okay!
To those who feel the need to start condemning and condescending another gender on social media mind, keep in mind that it is just not cool dude!
The world does not need your negativity.
