The moment of truth has arrived!
Just a few moments ago at around 9.45am this morning (22nd May), former prime minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak officially made it to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya, according to The Star.
Photos of him arriving at the anti-graft agency’s headquarters soon began to surface on social media, showing the former prime minister in a seemingly cheerful mood as he made his way into the building.

Najib’s attendance was required so that he could give a statement to aid with investigations into 1Malaysia Development Berhad’s (1MDB) former subsidiary company, SRC International Sdn Bhd. RM42 million was allegedly transferred from this company to the former prime minister’s private account.
This is just a small part of the high-profile 1MDB scandal that is being investigated by the MACC, which saw a whopping total of RM2.6 billion being channelled into Najib’s personal bank accounts.
