One of the major concerns during the monsoon season is not just the risk of flood itself, but the consequences that follow, such as damage to properties when parts of your house are submerged.
Submerged cars are bound to bring headaches in terms of repair costs. However, 2 drivers in Shah Alam had NOTHING to worry about. In a TikTok post by @yen_os, a man in his Myvi is seen driving through the flood in the tunnel in Shah Alam, followed by another driver in Axia who braced through the floodwater that covered the lower parts of their cars.
Myvi has always been regarded as the King but is Axia bound to be hailed as the next King?
In the TikTok clip, both drivers who braced through the flood in the tunnel casually drove away from the flood as if the flood was nothing. Like heroes emerging from the dark. The Myvi driver was also “chill” enough to have his right hand resting on the door while driving away from the flooded tunnel.
“As usual, the King takes the lead and his brother follows,” Khairin wroted in his caption.
Sometime last year during the flood, another Myvi was also spotted going through the flood like a King, leaving a luxury car stranded nearby. Thanks to the height of the air intake system, most Perodua vehicles are durable and can withstand flood. Axia, for instance, can go through a flood that is as deep as 2.5 meters.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Khairin said the incident took place in Section U12 of Shah Alam, and the flood happened on Saturday (December 16) after a heavy downpour.
“The floodwater has receded by now,” Khairin added.
You can watch the King and possibly the successor go through the flood in the clip below.

To those who are driving a Perodua car, do you have the courage to go through the flood as if you’re in a submarine?
