A vehicle workshop near Bukit Jalil Highway in Bandar Puchong Jaya burst into flames this morning (May 4), with the smoke seen from miles away.
23 vehicles, which included 20 cars and 3 motorcycles, were destroyed in the fire.

Assistant Director of the Operations and Firefighting Division of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) in Selangor, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said that his department received a call regarding the fire at around 10:56 am.
A total of 21 officers and personnel from the Puchong Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) assisted by BBP Subang Jaya, BBP Seri Kembangan, and BBP Damansara were rushed to the scene.
“The team on duty immediately carried out extinguishing work, and initial checks found that the fire involved 20 cars and three motorcycles inside the premises.”


The video of the fire circulated on social media, with the a big cloud of smoke spotted from miles away.
No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated, Ahmad said in a statement.
