A video footage surfaced on social media, when former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin lost his ‘cool’ and challenged PMX Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to publicly declare Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) financial accounts.
The video, which followed the claims of Anwar that PN were the richest political party in Malaysia, at the moment, was met with Muhyiddin’s response that Anwar has no proof to support his claims.
He said: “What proof does he have? I can show him our bank accounts… I know what’s the truth.”
“So, I challenge Anwar. Show me your party’s accounts. I know how much you have.”
Netizens too, had questions for PN and its leaders.
“How can a party, that is established not long ago, gain millions?”
Recently, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has frozen Bersatu’s accounts, as part of the process for an ongoing investigation involving RM92.5 billion in government funds.
