Becoming an online seller can be difficult at times and even more so when it comes to dealing with online trolls. It gets harder if the product that you are selling is a bit weird or unique, which invites trolls to attack even more.
One Lazada seller put up a cervical traction device for sale, which is kind of an orthopaedic device to alleviate neck and back pain. Little did they know, trolls hounded the page and asked silly questions.
However, the Lazada seller took the high road in dealing with the situation, even giving the trolls honest replies to each of their negative reactions towards the device
It’s not all fun and games, however. Suicide is something that should not be taken lightly, and the seller knows this. Hence all the answers were crafted carefully, even asking the trolls to appreciate life more.
As of now, the product listing on Lazada has received 45 questions, with all of them answered by the seller. Some users praised the seller for being so patient, and one user even offered to hire the seller to do customer service.
Dealing with trolls can be a pain in the neck, but the online seller has set a great example, especially when it comes to dealing with sensitive issues like suicide and self-harm.
The neck pulling device might actually be beneficial for those who stare at the screen for a long time like some of us at the office. So maybe our bosses can pasang one for each of us. Thank boss!
