At the 10-corner fight in Batu, we can probably say that the most interesting candidate is Cleopatra, a single mother of 2.
During her campaigns, she had to come face to face with a lot of online criticism – where some even called her a pornstar.
Even after the election is done, some netizens still did not let her go and started sexualizing her in her most recent (innocent) tweet.
Bukan anak saya, salah satu PACA saya yang terpaksa bawa anak kecil semasa bertugas untuk pilihanraya.
Saya minta Ibunya utk bertugas dan saya gendong hingga anak teruna tidor nyenyak.
Semoga Allah Swt luaskan rezeki saya supaya saya dpt jadi Ibu kepada semua anak2 ini. Ameen pic.twitter.com/vYJ9gunIvd

In that tweet, she talks about how one of her PACAs was forced to bring a small baby with her to the voting centre.
Seeing this, Cleopatra asked for the mother to go and do her job while she takes care of the baby.
In the picture, the baby is snoozing under Cleopatra’s shawl. However, some netizens thought that she was breastfeeding the baby and had left some very disgusting comments.
“Searching on Google about how I can become a baby.”
“I want to breastfeed too.”
“Can you be more civilised?”
“I voted for you in Batu so please make me your baby.”
“I’ve never felt jealous of a baby.”
“I want to become a baby again after looking at this picture.”
“The baby is so fortunate for getting so much milk.”
“I have difficulty sleeping too. I want (you) to cuddle (me) too.”
These comments were definitely met with criticism by other netizens.
“There are many itchy men in the replies of this tweet.”
“I’m sorry but it’s really disrespectful to comment like this. You’re literally sexualizing her. Seriously so uncivilised.”
The tweet was meant to be a very wholesome moment talking about Cleopatra helping out someone in need but with the comments, it became something else. This is definitely something that shouldn’t be happening in our society.
