M’sian Woman Smacks Snatch Thief in the Face After He Was Chased & Stopped by P-Hailing Rider

Recently, we shared how a snatch thief in Penang was caught thanks to a Mercedes driver who drove the car into him.

Now, another video involving a snatch thief has gone viral, this time taking place in front of Restaurant Taste of Chennai in Rawang, Selangor.

In the 2 minutes 34 seconds video, the snatch thief can be seen already being stopped in his tracks by the public, with a police officer reaching the scene in the latter half of the video.

Furthermore, a motorcycle was also laying sideways on the ground, believed to be belonging to the snatch thief.

There was a crowd around the snatch thief who was sitting on the ground while leaning by a pickup truck, including a Malaysian woman, who is believed to be the victim of the snatch theft.

Based on the caption of the video, shared by the Facebook page Pachai Thamizhan 2.0 on Monday (15 May), the snatch thief was caught thanks to a p-hailing rider who chased and stopped him.

From the very start of the video, the woman can be seen hitting and kicking the snatch thief several times, most notably smacking him in the face with her handbag.

In the comments section, many netizens said that the video is ‘very satisfying’, saying that the snatch thief deserved to get such treatment.

One commenter said that the snatch thief was lucky to only be ‘lightly’ beaten up, claiming that such a crime would face graver consequences by the public overseas.

Meanwhile, another commenter condemned the snatch thief for living a life of crime instead of being an honest worker even though he’s still physically capable and owns an expensive motorcycle.

The aftermath of the incident is unknown as of the time of writing, including the action taken against the snatch thief by the authorities.
