A Malaysian woman who recently ordered a set of Ayam Gepuk online ended up receiving more than she expected.
In her order request, the woman asked for a chicken thigh and extra cabbage. She also apologised to the store’s staff for placing the order at the last minute as Iftar approached, explaining that she had been occupied with business earlier.

It turned out to be her lucky day as she unexpectedly received half a cabbage
In her viral Threads post, she said the staff handling her order may have misunderstood her request and given her half a cabbage after noticing the double exclamation marks in her message. Her intention, she clarified, was not to sound demanding but simply to express guilt for ordering so close to Iftar.
“I used exclamation marks because I wanted to show how bad I felt. It was like when you want to apologise multiple times to someone, that’s what I meant.”
She also responded to claims that she was being “demanding” for placing an order so close to Iftar, explaining that she was caring for someone who was ill.
“I could only eat what the ill person was eating, and that day, I made egg drop soup for them. But I didn’t want that for Iftar.”
“As Iftar was nearing, I saw posts about Ayam Gepuk on social media, which prompted me to get one for myself,” she explained.

She added that she apologised to the staff preparing her food because she felt bad, as if she was inconveniencing them right before Iftar.
In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, the woman clarified that she had requested extra raw cabbage, not fried cabbage as many had assumed on social media.
“Many misunderstood my order. They thought I ordered fried cabbage, but got raw ones instead.”
She added that she was surprised her post went viral, saying she had only intended to share something she found hilarious.
