It’s no secret that restaurants around the Klang Valley have been charging considerably high prices for their meals.

But, upon paying you would expect to at least receive portions suitable to the high prices, right?

That unfortunately wasn’t the case for Cassandra, who took to her Instagram account to showcase the measly Char Siu and Siu Yuk rice she had ordered at a well-known restaurant in SS2, Petaling Jaya, that costs RM16.

“Portion is a joke. Paid RM16 for this,” Cassandra wrote on her Instagram Story.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she shared how shocked she was at the portion of meat, especially considering they (Cassandra and her father) had checked with the staff who confirmed they received the right portion.

“We both were like shocked and we thought it was very ridiculous because of the price, it’s so expensive and the portion is so little.”

“We even asked the lady ‘is this the normal portion?’ and the lady said ‘yes’,” she said.

Her father doubled down on their disbelief, “Huh? Paying RM16 for this?”

While it is understandable that some restaurants tend to cut down on portions to accommodate crowds and high demand for their meals, but considering the high price, the portions shouldn’t be cut down to this extent. This just seems utterly unreasonable.

Would you accept such small portions for that price? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
