Recently, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh went on the ground to attend a football clinic co-organised by the National Sports Council (NSC) and the Bangi Junior Football Club (KBJB).
The event involved hundreds of schoolchildren and their parents, whereby the kids learned basic football techniques, which hopefully would pique their interest in the sport.
The event was also attended by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bangi, Syahredzan Johan and the former Assemblyperson for Sungai Ramal, Mazwan Johar.
During the event, the schoolchildren personally meet and hold conversations with the Youth and Sports Minister; something they surely would treasure moving forward.
However, one particular primary school student stood out during the programme thanks to his cheeky riddle to Hannah Yeoh which turned out to be a smooth pickup line.
The candid interaction was recorded on the Youth and Sports Minister’s Facebook Live and was edited and re-shared by Dr Rais Hussin on Twitter.
In the interaction, the student in front of his friends asked Hannah Yeoh what finger was he holding up to her, while showing his thumb.
Sensing that the student was trying to trick her with a prank, the Youth and Sports Minister was hesitant to answer at first but eventually played along.
The student then listed down the name of the fingers one by one in Bahasa Malaysia from the thumb until ‘Jari Manis’ or the ring finger. That’s when he threw out the smoothest pickup line,
“This is the Jari Manis, but it’s not sweet. Because what’s sweet is you.”
The crowd was taken by surprise after hearing the pickup line/punch line, and laughed hysterically, including Hannah Yeoh.
What a cheeky little fella! He casually held a pickup line masterclass during the football clinic!
