Creating a marketable brand is not as easy as it used to be. With many competitors and unique ideas in circulation, business owners are often forced to come up with the most creative ways to peddle their works of art.
However, one bridal photoshoot may have taken the cake for just how far one can push the limit to capture aesthetically pleasing images in a rather unassuming surrounding.
Malaysian photographer and content creator Amir recently conducted a photoshoot for a local bridal line and makeup brand. While such a process seemed rather ordinary for a professional photographer, Amir shared behind-the-scenes moments of the shoot to his TikTok page @bng.amir, which he and his crew organised at a waterfall in Pahang.
In the clip, models for the bridal line can be seen walking into the waters of the waterfall while wearing their gowns. Decked in full makeup and accessories to match their outfits, the models take to the water fairly easy before the shoot begins. At one point, the models also pose on a rocky part of the river.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Amir stated that the photos were taken at the Sungai Dua Waterfall in Karak, Pahang, and revealed that the idea came from his team when working together with the makeup brand.
“We asked permission from the maker of the bridal gowns of course, and they agreed. So we carried out our vision as planned,” said Amir to WORLD OF BUZZ.
Garnering a wide response from their shoot, many Malaysians expressed polarised views on taking the photos at a waterfall site. Some opined that brides they knew would have cried if something similar was done to their dress, while others saw the mystical beauty aimed to be portrayed by the photographer.
“It looks like something out of Puteri Gunung Ledang, it’s so beautiful,” wrote one user.
Sharing the outcome, here are some of the stunning images captured by Amir from the shoot:
