With Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year just around the corner, many are preparing for celebrations with loved ones and reunion dinners with family.
Malaysian influencer Bryan Wee is looking to ‘hire’ a girlfriend for the season so that he can bring her home to his family for the festivities. Although he will be covering the expenses, there is a catch: while Bryan will take the woman to a Valentine’s dinner, she should not expect anything extravagant, such as rooftop dining.

‘If you eat more than that, you pay the difference’
In a recent Instagram video, Bryan made it clear that while he is happy to pay for the Valentine’s dinner, his date should not order anything costing more than RM50. Should the bill exceed this, she will be expected to pay the extra out of her own pocket.
A day after Valentine’s Day, Bryan plans to head back to his hometown with his date, but he warns that she should not expect the “princess treatment” at his family home.
He stated:
“When you see my parents, please address them properly, and when we’re having meals, take the dishes for me.
“When you’re free, don’t just sit there and scroll through your phone. Help my mum to clean the house.”

Bryan has also prepared a dress, one he has previously worn himself, for his date to wear next week, and reminded her that she must clean it before returning it to him.
A bouquet and a small fee
Once his date has successfully carried out her task as a ‘part-time girlfriend’, Bryan will pay her RM50 and present her with a bouquet of roses, worth RM100, as a token of appreciation.

He also mentioned that, as of now, applications remain open.
