It’s hard to stay away from our pets, especially for long periods of time. If you’re a proud parent of a catto and you’re going for a holiday, you must have thought about sending your fur babies to a cat hotel. But what happens if you’ve tested positive for Covid-19? Where are you supposed to send them?
On 6 May, Twitter user @frdsh_ shared his restlessness over his cats’ well-being after he tested positive for Covid-19.
He wrote, “I don’t know how to say this. But here we go. I was tested positive Covid-19 on 1 May 2021 and currently in Maeps, Serdang for a week. I’m doing perfectly fine. Just pray for my recovery. But being a cat parent, I’m most worried about Mukhsin, Mueez & Murni.”
His house was sanitised right after he left for the Covid centre and he shared that his close friends have been taking care of his three cats, Mukhsin, Mueez & Murni ever since.
In the thread, he also included his cats’ activities that can be seen through screenshots of his CCTV footage.
User @frdsh_ admitted that he was over-concerned about his cattos as the CCTV footage shows that they’re doing just fine, being playful and healthy as always!
However, if you’re a cat owner, you’d understand that there’s no such thing as too much when it comes to making sure your cats receive the TLC that they need. The protective owner soon updated his thread to inform everyone that he was going to hire a cat sitter to take care of Mukhsin, Mueez & Murni starting today (7 May). One of his friends visited them and reported that everything was fine.
We’re glad that the three cattos are doing great and we wish him a speedy recovery so he can come back to his fur babies as soon as possible!
