A recent story circulating online involves a Malaysian welder working in Singapore who, during a pitstop at a petrol station, discovered a small plastic packet with what looked like pills hidden under his motorcycle’s top box.
According to Harian Metro, the Johor Bahru South District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat, said that a 37-year-old man found the illicit substance on his motorcycle while at a petrol station in Majidee, Johor Bahru at 6:41 am.

Reports also revealed that when the man found the plastic packet with 2 red pill-like items under his motorcycle’s luggage box, he discarded it at the petrol station.
After being notified, the police conducted an investigation on August 23rd but couldn’t find the packet at the given location. However, further investigations are underway to track down the suspects involved in the incident.
“Luck is still on his side. Fortunately, the rider noticed the packet before entering Singapore. Someone had placed methamphetamine under the motorcycle’s box. Be careful, all our ‘Run SGD’ friends,” Raub said.
Based on the reports, the incident went viral on social media when someone revealed that drugs, suspected to be methamphetamine or horse pills, were placed under the storage box of a Malaysian worker’s motorcycle in Singapore.
