It’s common to be scared of driving due to the fear of accidents. But imagine experiencing a new fear, unlocked by the thought of getting stones thrown at you while driving.
In a recent post shared by the YDLAA Facebook page, it sparked discussions among netizens after a Facebook user by the name of Harminder Singh shared how someone threw a stone at his windshield while he was driving in Perak.
No one was hurt at the time of the incident
In Harminder’s caption of the post, he revealed that as he was driving, a stone came flying out from the grassy area. Thankfully, neither he nor any other drivers were hurt.
The caption of the post reads,
“Sometimes you wonder how a stone can fly from the grassy area. Luckily, no one got hurt.”
Concerned netizens flooded the comment section, all attempting to debunk the entire situation.
“It’s highly unlikely for the stone to have been thrown from that distance by hand alone. The culprit likely used a slingshot or something similar. This poses a serious danger, and I’m concerned it may not be an isolated incident. You should report this to the highway authorities and PDRM.”
“Picture a motorcyclist cruising down the highway. The stone seemed quite large. I hope the culprit faces appropriate consequences for their actions.”
“It must be someone who lives in the area.”
“You can see the front of a truck peeking down there. It’s a white truck. I hate to say it, but tow truck operators are often eager for illegal money. The Karak highway in Bentong is notorious for oil spills on the road, and there’s always a tow truck parked near the bushes.”

Whether the stone was thrown intentionally or it was just an accident, we’re grateful that no one was hurt.
