As pandemic restrictions have eased, people are finally heading back to their hometowns or have begun travelling. That being said, some would choose to take the bus back as it’s cheaper than buying a plane ticket.
According to Sin Chew, a Malaysian recently expressed his frustrations as he missed his bus while queuing at the terminal.
It was reported that the man had bought his bus ticket online through their website and was informed that he would have to get the ticket printed at the kiosk located in the bus terminal.
“I arrived an hour before I was supposed to board the bus and I had to queue up to get my tickets printed. There were 7 counters but only 2 counters were available!“, he said.
He mentioned that he doesn’t understand why they would still require a printed ticket if they’ve purchased the ticket online. He was still in line waiting to get his tickets printed when there was only 15 minutes left until the bus leaves and unfortunately, the people queuing in front of him were facing the same issues.
“They told me that they’re really worried that they’ll miss the bus and they’re not sure if they have enough money to buy new tickets. The lines were so long that they had to split into 6 shorter lines and there were only 2 counters open,” he added.
He then mentioned that he ended up missing his bus and was just frustrated that their system was still so outdated and inefficient.
He ended the post saying that he hopes that relevant authorities would look into this matter and improve their services.
