In the midst of Ramadan, many Malaysian Muslims are not only facing the challenges of fasting throughout the long and arduous days, but finding great opportunities to break fast alongside those who mean the most to them. One group of friends, however, have set the standard really high for creative ways one can break fast with those closest to you.

A recent TikTok video posted by user @justmepotato has been making waves online, after his friends came up with a wonderful idea on how to break fast together. In a clip shared to his page, the user revealed that he and his friends took a boat to travel through Sungai Terengganu. Bringing their own food onto the boat, including pizzas, sushi, and a cake, the group joyfully ate together.

However, one of the most beautiful aspects of the video was the immaculate sunset that was present in their background for their evening. On top of that, all of them had a perfect view of the Kuala Terengganu Bridge, as the colours in the sky shifted from a warm orange to hues of pink with day turning to night.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, the user revealed that one of his friends had arranged the activity for them to do, as a unique way to break fast together. Each person brought one item for the dinner, as it was a potluck. Adding context to the situation, the user also said that his friends organised the boat ride with the Sekati Emas Boat Tour in Terengganu, while the group supplied their own food.

Captivated by the stunning ambience, many users expressed how in awe they were to witness the evening, even though it was through their phone screens. Adding to this sentiment, one user from Selangor said that the closest they’d get is to see this through their phone screen, and not in person.

“How beautiful it is to break fast while watching the sunset! The view is crazy beautiful,” wrote one user.
