No matter what you call it—a scooter bag, rolling baggage, or air wheel—these moving bags have been all the rage around airports and large shopping malls in the country.
But the anger seems to have been shortlived, as airports and malls banned the use of these bags, as this netizen at TRX experienced.
The user shared, “When we entered, we used the same bag, but when we left and entered back to watch a movie, security stopped us.”
“They allow us to use the bags but we can’t ride them. What’s weird is that others are zooming around with them in the very same mall.”
They tried arguing the matter with the security personnel but ultimately had to comply with rules and regulations.
In the comments section, here is what netizens have said on the matter.
“They have banned these in KLIA, you can’t even take them aboard flights anymore.”
“If I am not mistaken, flights have banned these luggage as they are equipped with a motor and a 12v/24v battery. It is a fire hazard,” said a user.
Another commented, “All you have to do is simply to follow the rules.”
