It might not be fun when someone yells “mak kau hijau” at you in the midst of an argument but it sure is fun when a foreigner says it.
Malaysian artist Andi Bernadee is in South Korea for a reality show named Master In The House Malaysia (MITHM).
It is based on the South Korean counterpart where cast members spend 2 days & 1 night with respected figures in various fields and professions to get to know them and their lives.
On 4 January, Andi Bernadee shared a video of him with his Kpop star castmate, Got7’s Bambam.
In that Reels video, Andi started by saying ‘mak kau hijau” in a truly Malaysian way.
Bambam who was next to him at that time then repeated the phrase very cluelessly. It was so hilarious!
It seems like it was filmed a long time ago as Andi said that it has been “marinated”. You can watch it below.
In Andi’s Instagram stories, he put out a few teasers saying that he met a special someone that day with BTS’ Permission to Dance as the audio. We’re definitely keeping our eyes peeled for this one!
“I already gave a hint on who I saw that day in Korea. Y’all were just oblivious.”
It would be fun to see who Andi met and what videos they will do together!
Other than that, if you would like to watch Master in the House Malaysia, it will air weekly starting from 15 January, 10 – 11pm on TV3 or on its YouTube channel.
