It could be difficult to find a partner because there are so many factors to take into account. Due to conflicting priorities in life or an inability to compromise, many relationships eventually end.
Just recently, a Malaysian man shared his feelings on a page.
In his post, he said, “I was dating a girl for 9 years and not long ago, she asked for a breakup. I agreed to it, and we went our separate ways. I never asked for anything back but recently, I found out that she has a new partner and that they started dating before we broke up.”
“I’ve bought her a lot of gifts, but I think the most valuable gift I bought for her was a car. What made me angry is knowing that her new partner is driving the car I bought.”
“I can accept the fact that we broke up, as well as the fact that she lied and betrayed me. But I can’t accept the fact that her new partner is driving the car I bought for her,” he added.
“I don’t think any guy could take this humiliation and not hate her new partner. What I want to know is, is it wrong for me to ask her for the things I bought for her back?”
Netizens shared their thoughts
Many netizens felt angry for him and most of them told him to take the car back as revenge for her betraying him.
“You should ask if you need to ‘burn’ a car for them to use,” said a user.
Another commented, “If the car is under your name, you can take it back, as for the other gifts you gifted her, I think you can just forget about it.”
“It feels like as it this world is filled with betrayal and it’s getting so messy. When will true love occur? It seems like everyone is just getting cheated on,” commented another netizen.
As social media users, we’d occasionally stumble across different types of ‘confessions’ on Facebook. Some may be serious, amusing, or outright ridiculous. As it’s an anonymous post, we also remind everyone to take it with a pinch of salt.
