Taking to TikTok, netizen Nurashikin Abdul Samad shared a video of how she found a full squad of army guys taking a breather on her front lawn.
She expressed her shock that there were a lot of guys hanging around suddenly.
“Please make yourselves at home. Take as much time as you need,” they said.
Taking to the comments section, netizens had this to say.
“When we did this in Besut, Terengganu, when we were taking some time out, the homeowner gave us all drinks and fed us.”
“My late grandmother used to offer them drinks. One of them almost became my husband, but things didn’t work out,” said a user.
Noting that it was a rare occurrence, certain ex-military personnel shared that this was not a usual practice when the army was making their rounds.
