M’sia Ranks 5th in the Number of Southeast Asian Athletes Qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics!

The Olympics and Paralympics are considered the ultimate global sports events. And now, it’s Paris’s turn to welcome visitors from all corners of the world and celebrate the values they represent.

The Paris Olympic games is scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024. And with that, we’re proud to announce that our very own country, Malaysia, has once again made it into the rankings!

Malaysia ranks 5th in the number of Southeast Asian athletes qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics

According to @seasia.stats, Malaysia has secured a position in 5th place for the number of Southeast Asian athletes qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

6 Southeast Asian countries have already secured spots for this year’s Olympics in Paris. Thailand is leading the pack with 26 athletes, followed by Singapore with 10 athletes, Indonesia with 9 athletes, the Philippines with 8 athletes, and both Malaysia and Vietnam with 6 athletes each.

4 months left until the Paris Olympics!

With only 4 months remaining until the Olympics, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste have yet to secure qualification for any athletes for Paris.

“Thailand currently leads in the most athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics, as of the update on April 5, 2024!”

Although we’re ranked fifth, we’re still proud of our progress so far. Congratulations to Thailand for securing the top spot!

 

There’s still plenty of time for each team to add more athletes to their lineup for the global sporting event. Stay tuned for more updates!
