One of the best parts about being a motorcyclist is that you don’t have to pay for tolls while on the road. So, when a motorcyclist approaches a toll, they can use the designated motorcycle lane prepared by the authorities.

But then, why do certain motorcyclists still prefer to pass through tolls instead?

The 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians Facebook page shared dashboard camera footage of a car approaching a toll booth.

Toll 1

As the driver pays for the toll and the boom gate opened, a motorcycle quickly passed through, causing the gate to close before the driver could proceed with their journey.

Toll 3

Netizens have since expressed their anger over the situation, especially considering the motorcycle lane was right next to the toll booth.

Toll 4

“This is so so s*hai, there is his free lane but he doesn’t want to use it. Inconveniencing others.”

Toll 5

“The individual’s attitude is so resentful. Right next to it is the motorcycle lane that doesn’t require payment but don’t want to use. Really inconveniencing other road users. I cannot hold back my anger, sorry.”

Toll 6

If we were in the driver’s shoes, we really wouldn’t know what to do in such a situation. We genuinely hope that the authorities take action against the motorcyclist, as who knows the amount of trouble the driver would have had to go through the rectify the situation.
