The harsh reality of the Covid-19 lockdowns continues to sink in as more businesses are closing their doors this year and putting their premises up for sale and/or rent.

Images from the once lively SS15 is once again taking local social media pages by storm, as businesses in the area further descend into cessation.

The 生意出顶 Malaysia Business For Sale Facebook page took to their profile to showcase these pictures.

They wrote, “Returning to SS15, Subang, after a while, those shops we have been to, we will never have the chance to go again, and to those familiar faces, it is too late to say goodbye. Now, we don’t know where to go, we can only wish everyone well.”

However, the page gave business owners a glimmer of hope in the form of loyalty among customers who may return to support them once the lockdowns are over.

“Businesses may no longer be there, but as long as the people come, they can start again,” they added.

We genuinely hope that these business owners and their employees hang in there as Malaysians and others in our country get vaccinated in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19. Hopefully, the accelerated rate of vaccinations will enable more sectors to open safely and we can continue supporting the livelihoods of struggling business owners.
