People do the craziest things, thinking they could breach SOPs and get away with it – this is not one of those stories.

Shared on @SenawangTV, a group of motorcyclists, known as Mat Rempits in local slang, attempted to cross the border from Kuala Lumpur just to eat at a restaurant in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

They even shared their attempt on social media.

Now that’s a lot of motorcycles!

According to reports, the group breached roadblocks before getting caught by the Seremban District Police during Operasi Samseng Jalanan on the Lebuhraya Kajang-Seremban (LEKAS).

Deputy Director of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Datuk Mohd Nadzri Hussain said that 15 motorcyclist were detained and will be investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transportation Act 1987.

They are also given a hefty compound for inter-state travel without proper documentation.

“The motorcyclists belong to different gangs and were identified riding dangerously.”

“They then convened to meet at a restaurant in Seremban.”

Let’s take this as a warning of what not to do especially during CMCO.
