It was reported last night, 19 October, that there had been massive traffic congestion from the East Coast towards the Gombak toll plaza.
As reported by BERNAMA, the traffic congestion is due to people returning home to the capital from their hometowns.
The traffic congestion began at around 8pm last night, 19 october.
Furthermore, due to yesterday’s public holiday ending, this may be the reason why many started to return to the capital as work resumes again the next day.
This is the first holiday since the interstate travel restrictions have been officially removed for individuals who are fully vaccinated.
This announcement came into play after nine long months of interstate travel being banned.
