A customer visited a collectibles store in KL three times for Labubu dolls but he did not pay for it.
The customer stuffed a box into his pants each time before leaving

The same customer visited the store and repeated the same act three times throughout January until March this year before the management of the store eventually shared CCTV footage of the incidents on its Facebook page in an attempt to locate the person. His modus operandi remained the same where he would enter the store, pretend to look around, choose his “target” then stuff them into his pants before leaving the store.
The man was seen with another woman during his first visit but showed up alone during the second and third visits.

The management of the store posted the CCTV footage online and urged the public to help locate the thief.
“If this face looks familiar, maybe your cousin, neighbor or that one person who is obsessed with blind boxes, give us a heads up!”
“Let’s keep Labubu where it belongs – on the shelves, not in someone’s undies.”
Netizens shared their two cents
In the comment section, a social media user claimed that the store has been a hotspot for thieves for many years due to the store’s layout, and said the management did not do anything to solve the root cause of the issue.

The management responded and said previous thieves were identified and had been handled by the police.
Other netizens reacted to the man’s modus operandi and were actually baffled that he had enough space to store the stolen dolls in his pants.
