Usually, when merging lanes, the best practice is to use the ‘zipper merge’, where vehicles in each lane alternate turns, merging one by one like the teeth of a zipper.
The #UpdateInfo X page recently shared dashcam footage of a man stopping his vehicle in the middle of the road in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, to berate another motorist.

The man angrily urged the dashcam driver to wait before merging so that a white car, which had been behind him, could proceed first.
#UpdateInfo jokingly remarked, “Maybe the black car and white car are cousins.”
A roadside confrontation

In the footage, the vehicle with the dashcam is seen attempting to merge into a lane directly behind a black car. As the driver tries to move forward, a white car attempts to “nose in,” trying to prevent the dashcam vehicle from merging behind the black car.
Following this brief struggle for position, the black car suddenly stops in the middle of the road. The driver climbs out of his vehicle to scold the dashcam driver, insisting they give way to the white car.
After the confrontation, the man returned to his vehicle and continued his journey, followed closely by the white car.
