A disturbing sexual assault case that took place in Las Vegas, USA has recently made international headlines.
According to Astro Awani, a father was sentenced to 341 years in prison on Tuesday (28th May) after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting his children.

52-year-old Christopher Sena had reportedly been carrying out the horrific abuse of eight of his family members for 12 years before he was convicted.
Sena reportedly forced his children to have sex with him, his wife, his ex-wife, and even with their family dog, and videotaped some of these vile acts.
During his sentencing, the judge clarified that he would be receiving 54 life sentences and would not be eligible for parole until the year 2356, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Earlier in February, Sena was found guilty of multiple accounts of sexual assault with a minor, incest, use of a minor in the production of pornography, lewdness with a child younger than 14 and child abuse. Sena has been in jail since 2014 prior to this most recent sentence.
During his sentencing, the judge called Sena “highly selfish” with “a very perverted mind.”
One of the victims, who is now an adult and has just graduated from college, told the judge,
“I was just an object for him to do awful things to because there was no one there to tell him otherwise. It was better without him in my life.”
Meanwhile, prosecutor James Seetin said in court,
“This was all done without concern for the children or anyone else. This is what he wanted, and this is what he got.”

Sena has since been found guilty of 95 of the 120 counts he was charged with. Meanwhile, his wife, Deborah Sena, and ex-wife, Terrie Sena, have both been sent to prison for a minimum of 10 years for being “willing participants” in the abuse.
Now that he will be spending the rest of his life in prison, we hope that this man’s children can heal and move on from the years of trauma they endured during their childhood.
