A man in Songkhla, Thailand, allegedly groped his neighbour’s young daughter, and the incident turned deadly as it cost the life of the neighbour.
The neighbour, Phongsak, confronted the suspect, Suthep, and in a heated argument, the latter fired up to 3 gunshots at Phongsak.

In the incident that took place on 4 September, Phongsak tried to fire a gun at Suthep during the confrontation. Unfortunately, Suthep managed to grab the gun from Phongsak, and he fired up to 3 shots at his neighbour, killing him instantly.
Suthep then immediately fled the scene, triggering a nationwide manhunt.
The suspect was found hiding on the rooftop of his home
An arrest warrant was issued by the Thai Police the next day, but Suthep remained at large for several days, until the authorities tracked him down to his home near Songkhla Lake.
Still trying to escape his fate, Suthep climbed onto the roof, where he tried to hide from the authorities for 3 hours. Despite identifying his location, Suthep remained on the roof and refused to surrender until his relatives and the police convinced him to surrender.
Suthep eventually climbed down the roof, and he was finally placed in police custody.

Suthep handed over the 9mm pistol used in the shooting and 14 rounds of ammunition. He allegedly groped the cheek of Phongsak’s young daughter, and he confessed to the murder of Phongsak.
The suspect told the police that everything began with his alleged harassment towards Phongsak’s daughter, reported the Thai media.Â
