A viral video circulated in Singapore recently, showing a middle-aged man quarrelling with a group of students at Our Tampines Hub in the country.

The quarrel happened after the students, who wanted to study, had moved the man’s bags he used to ‘chup’ or reserve the table at the mall while he was away for several hours.

The feud escalated to the point that the man notified the mall’s security officer and when that didn’t go in his favour, the man called the police to the scene.

As reported by Shin Min Daily News, the man, wearing a black shirt, a black mask and a hat could be heard in the video scolding a group of five students while repeatedly pointing finger at the table they’re sitting at. However, the students didn’t took the man seriously and just laughed after he scolded them.

The students then explained to the man that they were just reviewing their lessons after he had left the area for several hours. However, the man then accused them of having a party at the table and told them to go to the library if they want to study.

The students then refuted his accusations and told him that he had left the table for a long period of time and they had moved the bags so that they can use the table.

The man then called the mall’s security officer who told him that if he were to leave the area for more than 2 hours, he should’ve brought his personal belongings with him. This caused the man to be further outraged and then accused the students of damaging his personal items.

He then called the Singpore Police Force (SPF), with police officers coming to the scene later that day.

The police then told the students to ask their parents to come over to talk to the man. However, the man had already left the scene when the police arrived.
