For all you home cook chefs, you would know how it can be so overwhelming when one of your pots get a slight scratch or even a dent as these pots are rather costly. Now, imagine if the handle of a lid breaks and you are not able to fix it. Yes, it is a frustrating situation to be in.

A Malaysian woman named, Ririe Sha, took on her Facebook to share how she was boiling with rage when she found out one of the lids for her pot was broken. Specifically the handle of the lid.

She took out her rage on her family members, ranting about how she cannot believe the handle could just disappear. Poof! Gone!

Knowing that she was creating a lot of noise at her home, she explained in her post that she was simply just overwhelmed that such a thing could happen.

However, she was surprised when her 34-year-old brother “fixed” the broken lid handle using a pacifier! Just to shut her up!

In her post, she wrote “Yesterday I was making a lot of noise, wondering where this pot handle could disappear to. This morning I woke up and there was a replacement but I laughed so hard.”

Ririe Sha told World of Buzz that her brother could not stand her bickering anymore so he came up with a creative solution and fixed the handle for her using her granddaughter’s pacifier.

“I have been cooking using the lid with the pacifier and surprisingly it works! It didn’t even melt,” she said.

She also shared a picture of her grandchild with her new pacifier as they are using her old one as the new handle to the lid.

Well, we’re glad her granddaughter got a new pacifier and that there will be no more bickering over a broken lid handle.

Thanks to Ririe Sha’s brother for teaching us this new hack! Who would have known a pacifier had other purposes and benefits.
