To all businessmen, how do you deal with customers who refuse to pay the full amount?
In a viral Facebook post, Johns Yong shared CCTV footage of the cashier dealing with a male customer with newly dyed blue hair at the counter in his hair salon in KL. The customer was expected to pay RM288, but he casually handed over only a few ringgit that he had taken out of his pockets to the cashier.
The cashier maintained his patience, pressed the amount on the calculator, and showed the man, but the latter gave him a mere smile.
In the post, Johns mentioned that the customer agreed to the RM288 price but only paid a few ringgit at the end of the service.
“This is the male version of Adeline!” Johns remarked.
When Johns asked how the man came to his shop, the latter said he rode his motorcycle and left his key on the ignition. So, Johns “accompanied” the customer to his motorcycle, only for the latter to say he lost his key!
Johns then asked the customer for his family number’s contact information, which he immediately gave, but there was a catch.
“I tried calling the number but it was a fake!”
Johns didn’t want to dilly-dally anymore, so he sent the “male Adeline” straight to the police station.
He admitted that he could do nothing after handing the customer over to the police, but he decided to circulate the matter in hopes of raising awareness.
“I can only remind other businessmen to be alert of this person, so that you won’t waste your time and energy on him.”
To our friends in the retail line, have you seen this man before?
