Men are constantly criticising women for being too materialistic or gold diggers if we decide to choose the guy who is more well-off compared to choosing a guy who is poor.
But what about guys? In very much the same way, if a guy had to choose a chubbier than average girl or a slim girl, we know they’d pick the one that appeal to their eyes most. Wouldn’t that be considered materialistic if they only choose base on the girl’s looks and not personality?

Recently, according to Vergetify, a Malaysian girl caught the attention of netizens when she posted a status saying,
“Guys are always complaining that if they are poor and can only afford to drive a Kancil, they can’t get a girlfriend, but what about chubby girls who can’t get a boyfriend? Is it really true that guys don’t know how to appreciate a girl who is chubby? Is there anyone who would like and accept a girl who is chubbier than average?”
Of course, people quickly gave their own opinions on this issue.

“Actually a good man wouldn’t care so much about his girl’s weight. We need to have the confidence to be ourselves. Skinny people have their own happiness while fat people also have their own happiness.”

The girl then adds one of her sad experiences into the post.
“In the past when I weighed 110kg, no one wanted me. But after that I lost weight and slimmed down to 80kg, I went out on a date with a guy I met online, and he didn’t contact me anymore. No matter what, I think guys would still mind and can’t accept a chubby girl.”
A few guys came out and said that they actually preferred chubby girls, as they were nicer to hug! “There are different people who likes to eat different kinds of food. You are just waiting for the right guy who knows how to appreciate you.”
But some jokers commented and said, “That’s because a Kancil has limited space and its horsepower is small. So, maybe they are afraid that the car cannot move.”
