As little girls, one of our first heroes would be our big and strong fathers who seem like they could protect us from any danger we would potentially face in the world. And even as we grow older, they still do their best to keep us safe from any harm, just like this 54-year-old man, who killed a man for allegedly trying to rape his daughter.

The incident happened on May 26 at approximately 8.20am, when the man’s 17-year-old daughter was watering some flowers at an estate in Tawau, Sabah. Then, a 38-year-old estate worker saw her and sneakily attacked her from the back by putting a sack over her head.

The victim fought back immediately and luckily, she managed to push the man off and removed the sack. She fled the scene while screaming for help.

Her father, who was working as a security guard at the estate heard her cries for help and came rushing to her rescue. Enraged, he attacked the alleged rapist with the parang he was carrying and slashed the man’s legs and body. A father would do anything to keep his children safe!

The would-be rapist collapsed from the scuffle while another security guard caught the girl’s father and handed him over to the police after that.

According to The Star, Asst Comm Fadil Marsus said, “The man collapsed and was sent to the hospital for treatment but he died soon after.”

He also said that the girl’s father would be detained until June 2 to assist with investigations.

Don’t mess around with a girl, especially when her father is nearby!
