A woman was rescued by APM after getting lost while hiking in Bukit Dinding forest
They wrote, “APM Kuala Lumpur received a case of a lost person in the Bukit Dinding forest on September 6, 2025 (Saturday) at 1:03 PM.”
“According to the caller, she had gotten lost and couldn’t find her way out of the recreational hill area, and reported being chased by an animal that looked like a tiger. 2 teams of 9 officers and personnel from the APM Kuala Lumpur District Operations Control Centre were rushed to the location to provide assistance.”

They later found the woman in a state of panic, while experiencing shortness of breath due to fear. She was then sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further treatment.
It wasn’t a tiger
They also clarified that the animal that chased the hiker is assumed to be a wild boar, based on the hiker’s description of the incident.
