If you’ve been following Lim Kit Siang on social media, you might notice that he often speaks about Dato’ Seri Najib Razak in his posts, especially on concerns if he may become the Prime Minister once again.

Due to the frequency of his post about the former Prime Minister, some people claimed that he is obsessed with Najib! However, Kit Siang has denied his obsession with Najib and stated that he is only worried about the country.

“If a convicted criminal of corruption can return in politics, the efforts to save Malaysia may not work.”

He also questioned whether Najib will be UMNO’s next pick to run for PM, given his influence and attempts to make a political comeback as there was no commitment from the first 3 prime ministers of Malaysia to fight corruption.

“However, no help seems to be coming from the same party that once fought to end corruptions.”

Just admit it if you are obsessed!

Najib has since responded via his Facebook status yesterday (3 February). Najib claimed that the reasons given by Kit Siang are ridiculous and an attempt to blind the rakyat. He also said that Kit Siang thinks of him all day long, including the 1st day of Chinese New Year.

“Just admit it if you’re obsessed! Don’t be shy.”

Just this morning (4 February), Najib has shared a lengthy post on his Facebook account and talked about the GDP growth rates of 4 different countries as another response to Kit Siang.

Do you think that Najib Razak may helm the title of Prime Minister once again?
