Most eateries in Malaysia generally celebrate their anniversaries by providing discounts and other special sales to commemorate their celebrations.

But a Kuantan restaurant is now taking anniversary celebrations one step further by handing out GOLD!

Restaurant Hai Tian (海天饭店) took to their Facebook page to showcase their special lucky draw with little pig ornaments made out of gold as prizes, in conjunction with their 24th anniversary.

Gold 1

They wrote, “Celebrating our 24th anniversary! July 18 and July 19, 2024 will be the 3rd round of the lucky draw! Will you be the winner of the next round? The game’s deadline is October 31!”

In the restaurant, the prizes could be seen on display, with the grand prize being the little gold piggies. A pearl necklace and earrings set was also among the prizes along with keychains.

To participate in the lucky draw, customers must spend over RM100 in a single receipt.

A notice read at their display: “There will be lucky wheel draws every Thursday and Friday. The grand prize winner will receive a gold pig prize (6 pieces). Any consumption of more than RM100 will receive a lucky draw voucher. This activity does not include the consumption of group meals of buffets (beer not included).”

Gold 2

So far, it appears that 4 groups have already managed to take home a golden piggy each.

Be right back, we’re heading to the restaurant to try our luck!
