Taking to Facebook, Kota Kemuning ADUN and Selangor Exco Ganabatirau Veraman shared a video of what took place when he went to the ground to inspect the Taman Muda area which has experienced repeated flash flood occurrences.

Whipping the officers into shape, Ganabatirau writes, “There is no concrete solution thus far on the issue. People residing in Taman Muda are tired of the flash floods that happen after heavy rainfall.”

Here is a video of his outburst.

“Look at what you have done all this while. This shows that you did all this with poor planning! Do you really know what you are doing?”

His tirade did not end there.

“You have to understand your work! If you don’t understand, resign!”

Clearly angry at the lack of responsibility in part of the department’s officers, Ganabatirau shouted for a good 2-minutes – for the benefit of all officers involved.

Let’s hope that there are many more hands-on ADUNs like this, who come down hard on officers who fail to deliver while holding their posts in public office.
