An auction listing for a property in Klang is currently gaining traction online over a rather suspicious line added to the listing description.
Taking to their Facebook page, Bank Lelong . Auction Property Malaysia shared an auction listing for a single-storey terrace house in Klang, which has red paint splashed all over the gate, outer wall and porch. However, funny enough, the listing ‘clarified’ that the red paint splashes were not due to loan sharks but just an accidental paint spill.

The listing wrote, “Don’t be scared, it was not Ah Longs that splashed paint, it was just an accident.”
They added that the market value for the house is RM300,000, but they are hoping for an auction price of at least RM230,000.
Malaysians don’t know what to believe!
While some shared that they were not buying the explanation provided, others think that the red paint splashes were deliberate tactics meant for the auction.

“Could it be that someone is afraid that someone else will out bid them, so they deliberately splashed red paint to create a false impression? So that the number of people interested in bidding will decrease significantly, and then that person can bid and win?”
