He wrote, “In a worrying incident at the First Residence Condominium in Kepong, 5 residential units at Block B were reportedly shot at with metal bullets since before Hari Raya Aidilfitri, including a 45-metre-high unit on the 16th floor, indicating the dangerous and high-powered weapon used.”

“According to the condominium manager, Mr Leong, all the affected units face Jalan Api-Api and are suspected of being shot from the same direction. Metal bullets were found on the balcony, rooftop and the downstairs area, while broken glass was found in the bathroom, kitchen and living room. The replacement costs are estimated at RM1,000 per unit.”

The potential dangers

Lim and his aide, Dic Lai, visited the scene and stressed that this is a very serious situation, as the metal bullets went as far as 45 meters, further than the range of a police pistol.

“If it hits eyes, it can lead to blindness. If it hits bodies, it can lead to deaths. This is no joke.”

He has since urged the police to quickly identify and arrest the perpetrators before more people become victims, and to act firmly and use the harshest laws against the perpetrators.

Do stay tuned for more updates.
