Minister of Health Khairy Jamaluddin has advised members of the public to keep their masks on and avoid crowded places as the national R-nought infectivity rate for Covid-19 has risen to 1.04.
In a video which was published on his Twitter account, @Khairykj expressed his concerns that people were not adhering to SOPs especially in wearing their masks, as they should.
“I would like to advise people to keep wearing their facemasks. Aunts and Uncles, remember that this is a facemask and it is not meant to be worn on your chin.”
Speaking to the media, he also added, “National Rt is 1.04. Keep your masks on. Avoid crowded places.”
